OUR DAY & SETTING
At Natural Wonder Nursery, we sepnd our day playing and learning in our amazing outdoor environment, where children are given the freedom to investigate the natural world around them.
We promote the long established philosophies of the Scandinavian Forest Kindergartens where children explore, learn and develop their skills, whatever the weather!
We encourage children’s creativity and imagination to ensure we give all our children the opportunity to have a magical childhood and reach their full potential in every area of development.
We are child-led and give our children the freedom they deserve to explore their interests, and manage their own challenges and risks.
Our highly trained staff are on hand to enhance and encourage chilren's learning at every opportunity.
We're open from 08:00 until 17:00 and a typical day at Natural Wonder Nursery might include some of the following:

OUR SETTING
During our time together we have exclusive use of our gated 9 acre woodland, with an undercover outdoor space, learning cabins, camp fire, toilets and even a climbing wall
Our woodland is a 9 acre, broadleaf forest secured by fencing. It’s a safe place for our children to explore everything nature has to offer. They can connect with their natural world through their senses, exploring and experiencing the weather, seasons, wildlife, nature, growth and changes as they happen!
There are endless opportunities for our children to explore movement, take risks, test their capabilities and learn as they climb trees and balance on logs. Children learn to problem-solve and collaborate with others, developing their social skills through negotiating, building together, or working out whose turn it is next. The outdoor environment develops a positive attitude towards learning and in their own abilities, which boosts their self-awareness, independence and confidence.
There is freedom to be creative and use their imagination as they engage in role play and use natural resources to support their play. A place where sticks become wands, trees become forts and children become dragons!
Our 9 acre woodland is based just outside of Sunningdale near Ascot in Berkshire.
We're located just 8 mins from junction 3 of the M3 and conveniently located for the M4.
Our forest school childcare nursery setting is ideally located for families in Camberley, Bracknell, Ascot, Wokingham, Reading, Staines, Bagshot, Lightwater and surrounding areas.
